Our Mission

To provide a professional association where business tax officials may cooperate and consider matters of mutual concern, including the exchange of ideas and information among the municipalities and counties from throughout the state of Florida.

• To promote statewide education and certification opportunities for Florida's Business Tax professionals.
• To maintain and assist existing local FABTO chapters and actively pursue forming new chapters throughout the state.
• To educate regarding local business taxation and show the uses and benefits of the revenue collected through Local Business Taxes.
• To provide a professional association whereby business tax officials may cooperate and consider matters of mutual concern, including the exchange of ideas and information among the municipalities and counties from throughout the State of Florida.
• To provide information that brings members into contact with other governmental agencies that affect local business taxes.
• To provide and maintain communication with the various agencies and individuals that are able to assist the organization and its members in accomplishing its educational goals.
